This offbeat wildlife journey offers thrilling jungle safaris in three of the most renowned protected areas of the region — Gorumara National Park, Chapramari National Park, and Jaldapara National Park. The tour is designed to provide a close encounter with the natural beauty and wildlife of the Eastern Himalayan foothills.
Day 1 – Arrival | Transfer to Dooars (Lataguri / Murti)
Arrival at NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport followed by meet and greet by the Roam and Ramble representative. Begin a scenic drive to Lataguri or Murti in the Dooars region, which takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. The journey passes through lush tea gardens, small rivers, and beautiful forest landscapes of North Bengal.
Upon arrival, check in at the resort or forest lodge and take some time to relax.
In the afternoon, proceed for a jungle safari in Gorumara National Park, subject to permit availability. The park is known for its population of Indian one-horned rhinoceros, elephants, gaur, deer, and several species of birds.
Spend the evening at leisure enjoying the peaceful forest surroundings.
Overnight stay in Lataguri or Murti.
Day 2 – Chapramari Wildlife Safari & Nature Experience
Early in the morning, proceed for a jungle safari in Chapramari National Park.
Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary, located along the banks of the Murti River, is famous for its elephant herds, bison, deer, and rich birdlife. The dense forest environment offers excellent opportunities for wildlife observation and photography.
After the safari, return to the resort for breakfast.
Later in the day you may visit the scenic Murti River for a short nature walk and photography. You may also explore nearby tea gardens and local villages to experience the natural charm of the Dooars region.
Evening is free to relax at the resort.

Day 3 – Transfer to Jaldapara | Wildlife Safari
After breakfast, check out from the resort and drive to Jaldapara National Park, which takes approximately three hours.
Jaldapara National Park is one of the most important wildlife reserves in Eastern India and is particularly famous for the Indian one-horned rhinoceros.
Upon arrival, check in at the resort or forest lodge and take some time to relax.
In the afternoon, proceed for a jungle safari in Jaldapara National Park. The grassland ecosystem of the park supports wildlife such as the Indian one-horned rhinoceros, Asian elephants, gaur (Indian bison), spotted deer, hog deer, and a variety of bird species.
Evening at leisure.
Overnight stay near Jaldapara National Park.
Day 4 – Departure
After breakfast, check out from the resort and drive to NJP Railway Station or Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
The tour concludes with unforgettable memories of wildlife encounters and the pristine forests of the Dooars.
